Meal planner & recipes
Plan the week's dinners and turn recipes into a shopping list.
The meal planner takes the daily "what's for dinner?" off your plate by mapping out the week ahead.
Finding it
Open More → Meal planner. You'll see the week laid out day by day, with a slot for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snack. Use the arrows to move between weeks, or tap Jump to this week.
Planning a meal
- Tap the + Add under any meal slot.
- Type what's on the menu, or tap From a recipe to pick one you've saved.
- Add a Note for sides, who's cooking or allergies, then tap Save.
The recipe library
Tap Need inspiration? to browse Oona's built-in library of easy, family-friendly recipes, or tap Browse recipe ideas while planning a slot. You can save your own too: open Recipes (the book icon, top-right), then New recipe or Import from a web link.
Straight to the shopping list
This is the time-saver. On any recipe, tap Add to shopping list and choose one of your shopping lists — every ingredient is added in one go. (Make a shopping list first if you haven't — see Shared lists & shopping.)
