Manage your household, profile, the plan and your Oona Plus subscription.

Settings is your household's control centre. You'll find it under More, then Settings.

What you can manage

  • Your profile — your display name, photo and colour.
  • Household — the household name, theme colour, the day your week starts on, and which everyday features are on.
  • Family code — the code your kids type to sign in on a shared device.
  • Wall display — set the exit PIN and open the wall display.
  • Plan — see your plan and manage your subscription.

Only parents can change household settings. Other members see them as read-only.

Oona Plus

Plus unlocks pocket money, the meal planner, routines, the family vault, wishlists, bills and the unlimited assistant, for everyone in your home. It's about NZ$6.99 a month or NZ$49 a year, and it starts with a 14-day free trial.

To start, open More, then Settings, find Plan, choose monthly or yearly and tap Start 14-day free trial. You can cancel anytime, and billing is handled securely by Stripe.

Managing your subscription

Once you're on Plus, the Plan section shows a Manage subscription button. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can update your card, switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel. Only the household owner or a parent who manages billing will see it.

Turning features on and off

To choose which feature modules your whole family uses, open More, then Household setup. A parent can pick a life-stage preset to get a sensible starting point, then turn individual features on or off. Only what's on shows up around the app, which keeps things calm and easy to navigate.
