Add your family
Invite parents, other adults and kids to join your household.
Once your household exists, you bring everyone else in with an invite. Only an owner or parent can invite.
Send an invite
- Open More → Family members.
- Tap Invite (the button in the bottom-right).
- Under They'll join as, choose Parent, Adult or Kid.
- For an adult, you can enter their Email and we'll email them the invite. Leave it blank to just share a code.
- Tap Create invite (or Send invite if you added an email).
You'll see a 6-character code. Use Share invite, Copy link or Copy code to send it however you like.
How adults join
They open the link, then Create an account or sign in. After that they pick their name and colour, and they're in.
How kids join
Kids don't need an email. Open the invite link or code on their device. On the join screen the child sets their own name, colour and a secret PIN. You don't set these for them.
After joining, a kid signs in on the Kid tab using your family code, their name and their PIN.
Roles at a glance
- Owner set up the household and can't be removed.
- Parent can invite and manage members.
- Adult is a grown-up without management powers.
- Kid has a simpler, child-friendly view.
You can change a member's role or remove them any time by tapping their name on the Family members screen.
