A household is your family's shared space in Oona. The first grown-up sets it up and becomes the owner.
Set it up
- Open Oona and create your account, or sign in.
- On the welcome screen, tap Create a household.
- Type a Household name, like The Smiths.
- Add Your name and pick Your colour.
- Tap Create household.
That's it. You land on the Home screen, ready to add lists, plans and your family.
What being the owner means
- You're the owner, so you can invite everyone and manage the household.
- You can change the household name and your details later in Settings.
- Owners and parents can add or remove members; other members can't.
Already been invited?
If someone has sent you an invite instead, tap Join with a code on the welcome screen and enter the 6-character code. See Add your family for how invites work.
Finding your way around
The bottom of the screen has Home, Lists, Calendar, Chores and Feed, plus a More button in the bottom-right. Everything else, like family members and settings, lives under More. On a computer, More is the menu down the left side.
